Who We Are
The “El Modena Vanguard Band Booster Club” is a registered 501c(3) nonprofit, volunteer organization whose mission is to provide financial, physical, and moral support to the students and programs associated with the El Modena High School Instrumental Music Program, under the direction of our director, Mr. Mike Alvarez.
Our booster organization is one of the few ways you can be actively involved in your child’s high school education. It’s a great way to connect with your student and support an activity that they’re passionate about. Your most important contribution will always be your presence. Simply being involved sends a powerful message to your student.
Meeting Schedules
Booster meetings are usually held once a month beginning at 6:30pm via Zoom, but as needed in person. All parents and family members are strongly encouraged to attend. Links for zoom meetings will be sent out on the band app!
Volunteer Opportunities
Get involved by lending a hand at concerts, football games, competitions, concessions, transportation, fundraising and more!
Fundraising Initiatives
Participate in our campaigns to raise essential funds for instruments, uniforms, and travel expenses. We welcome any and all ideas for supporting our musicians!
